After some time doing my side project Omega Sector I posted that I was available for work on the Unity3D Forums. Well after a few weeks at my new place my wife leaves me and I was stranded in an apartment I could not afford to pay and without a job. Little did I know just a week after that I would be contacted for a job. After talking to the CEO a little and talking about why I should be hired, I was given a task to complete. Just a simple box and my job was to tear down that box starting with the the door and some bolts. As soon as I got that far I was stoked.. I spent the next week at my place and my friends working diligently for a few days trying to get the basic tear down accomplished. Once I had that I contacted the CEO of the company to give them a status update. Once I did that they seemed pleased but I wasn't sure. A week later still working on the project and keeping in touch with them , I was invited to an interview. I accepted the interview and we set a day to talk over SKPE. Well I didn't realize they were two hours ahead of where I lived so the very first Interview I missed and I immediately contacted them though an Hour late and they understood and rescheduled for the next day. Once in the interview I was asked some various personal questions which at first I thought was strange but towards the end I knew I might have gotten the job as the final question was if I play EVE ONLINE. Which I replied yes I do play regularly , I could hear everyone on the other end cheering. So I thought I made a good impression but still knew I had a task to complete so I still worked on the box trying to reassemble and as soon as I contacted the CEO to show him the latest update I was given a PDF file over skpe.. I opened it and it was an Acceptance Letter to work at Millie Models in Huntsville Alabama... I was extremely happy and my grandmother cheered , my grandfather seemed happy but hesitated to give me praise as I have had many failures in the past up till that point in my life. Once I knew I had the job I packed my bags and drove 1800 miles to work here at Millie Models. I could never be happier as I'am now and it's all thanks to UNITY3D and hard dedicated work that I poured into my project on my own spare time.

How I started my path down the Game Development Road
OMEGA SECTOR
Now when I started the game looked nothing like it does today or even plays the same. I started with a simple tank that could rotate it's turret and fire shells I made in 3dsMax. Not to mention I used a third person controller script I made to move the tank. If only I knew the true power of Unity3D , I would have been BLOWN away by it. So as I'am developing for Unity3d I was also looking for work and there is work out there and I have gotten more interviews in my field than any Mcky D's job or Jack in the Box, or wal-mart. Not that I got jobs instantly I still had to work to even get past first interview rounds and I'am still looking for a job. My first title was 8th Legion it was suppose to be a continuation of 7th Legion but I decided that I should create my own game with my own lore and gameplay rather than ripping off a old game I played a long time ago. Thus was born Stardust Empires At War which at the time didn't realize that Stardust was taken as a name so about 6 months ago I changed the game's name to Omega Sector and from there I been developing the game. I primarily work in my spare time when I'am not doing odd jobs or helping out with family affairs.
